Number 1 Most Important Thing In Business

The Rule number 1 of making massive money online is to have a valuable product or service.

It is to actually create or have a valuable product or service (whether your own or someone else').

But valuable here is not defined by you, it's defined by the customer.

Business starts with the Customer.

To run an effective business that makes money, (at least, round the clock) you don't start by creating a product or service, you start first by checking what those people need, then creating a product to match that need and selling it to a large number of people.

Let me explain.

You see how all the richest people are serving the needs of people rather than doing what they may want?

Facebook is always giving you updates on how to connect better with your contacts.

Dangote is always selling sugar, spaghetti, cement and those other kinds of things people need daily and what they are willing to pay for.

So, before you get into a business, you don't check what you want to do, you check what people want/need, and are willing to pay for.

Getting it yet?

Now, we don't know what Dangote is passionate about, he is just selling what people want, and are willing to pay for. Same principle everywhere. Check it out for yourself.

What does this mean for you though? It means that you should check what people want first, and not create a product and hope that they like it. Follow the need first, not really your Passion.

In most cases though, I'm guessing you created your product first before considering what the market wants right?

No problem yet, there's a way to check if your business will be profitable.

1. Is it solving a painful problem for your customer?

Dangote solves our need to build, eat different things and satisfy cravings

2. Is the Customer base large enough for this business?

Dangote is basically selling to almost half of Nigerians. Is your products catering to the needs of many people? If not, you may have to reconsider,

(but if is serving just a few people, it needs to be a really big need for those people).

3. Are people willing to pay for it?

If you can answer these questions positively, you are in business, and there's a good chance of making it, especially in a place like Africa.

After you have answered this, you need to make sure that your product really, actually solves these problems for the customers you have in mind.
